Who we are
The Institute for Material Applications and 3D Printing Solutions (IMAPS) was founded by the two founders and managing directors of Apium Additive Technologies GmbH, Prof. Dr. Brando Okolo and Tony Tran-Mai. IMAPS was founded as an independent consulting and training institute in order to efficiently utilize the extensive knowledge about 3D printing technologies, which is far beyond the knowledge applied at Apium, and to bring it to the world. It is part of the Steinbeis network of over 1,000 experts, which gives us the opportunity to have an experienced partner available to solve any problem and to enter into cooperation with specialists from all industrial sectors.
IMAPS combines many years of experience from science and technological practice. With our interdisciplinary team of experts, consisting of material scientists, engineers and economists, we clarify all relevant topics concerning additive manufacturing across industries. We advise and support our customers in the integration and implementation of innovative 3D printing solutions.
