Prof. Dr. Brando Okolo
Prof. Dr. Brando Okolo is founder and managing director of the Institute for Material Applications and 3D Printing Solutions (IMAPS). With over 15 years of research, teaching and industrial experience gathered at the Max-Planck Institute, the Karlsruhe Institute for Technology (KIT), German University in Cairo (GUC) and Apium Additive Technologies GmbH, he brings valuable scientific and technological know-how as well as an extensive global network to IMAPS. His expertise is in the areas of materials development and processing for Additive Manufacturing. He coordinates the training, research and applications projects at IMAPS. His vision is to educate people in the area of materials for additive manufacturing and to make it possible for industrial groups to beneficially adopt additive manufacturing technologies.

Tony Tran-Mai
Tony Tran-Mai is the founder and CEO of the Institute for Material Applications and 3D Printing Solutions. A business graduate with 17 years of management and sales experience, he is responsible for the strategy and finances of IMAPS. At IMAPS, he uses his many years of professional experience as well as his intra-industry contact network to generate consulting assignments and to win new strategic partners.
